About Medfield Children's Center

Parents:
We
have been in business since 1982 and as many of you know, we own and operate two
pre-schools in Medfield, MA, one located in the Church of the Advent on Pleasant
Street, and the other located in the First Baptist Church on South Street.
Our
school at Pleasant Street offers you the following options:
Tues./Thurs. AM Nursery
Class 9:00 am-11:30 am Your child must be 3 by 8-31
Tues./Thurs. PM Nursery
Class 12:30 am-3:00 am
Your child must be 2.9 by 8-31
Mon./Wed./Fri. AM
Pre-K Class 9:00 am-11:30 am Your child must be 4 by 8-31
Mon./Wed./Fri. PM
Pre-K
Class 12:30 pm–3:00 pm Your child must be 4 by 8-31
These programs offer an optional one-hour Lunch Bunch program for the AM classes that runs from 11:30 am-12:30 pm and a 45 minute Lunch Bunch program for the PM classes that runs from 11:45 am-12:30 pm.
Our South Street location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm with child-care available running concurrently with our educational programs. With all of the following programs at South Street, you may choose the days you wish your child to attend.
Toddler
Program: Available to children between 15 months and 2.8 years of
age. You must sign up for a
minimum of 2 days from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. You do have the option of
signing up for more days and longer hours.
Nursery
School & Pre-Kindergarten Programs: These programs have the same age requirements as
Pleasant Street. Both of these
programs run Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 11:30 am with an optional
Lunch Bunch program from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.
Child-Care
Program:
Your child will participate in our educational program, but will have the option
of extended hours (i.e. coming in before 9:00 am or staying after 12:30 pm).
After-School Kindergarten Program: If your child has morning Kindergarten, we are able to meet children (11:30 am-11:45 am) coming off the school bus. They are dropped off right at the gate with a teacher waiting. They will take part (along with our Pre-K and Transitional children) in our afternoon educational program called PM Pals.
Transitional
Program: On an as-needed basis, we offer a transitional program for
those students who just miss the cut-off for Kindergarten or for those children
who for various reasons are not ready for Kindergarten, but
Summer Program: Our summer program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for nine (9) or ten (10) weeks at our South Street school location. You do have an option for signing up for extended hours, and for as many weeks as you wish.
